DDC Kupwara reviews progress of ongoing works under JJM

Kupwara : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan Monday convened a meeting to review the progress of ongoing works under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the district.
On the occasion, the DDC stressed upon all the concerned officers to gear up the pace of work and ensure completion of all ongoing works within the stipulated time frame. She emphasized upon the officers to maintain quality standards of the works being executed on ground so that the assets created are durable and reliable.
During the meeting, various land and forest issues were raised before the chair and the DDC directed the concerned officers to resolve them instantly. She directed the JD Planning to constitute a Technical Team for inspection of dug wells constructed in the district.
Earlier, it was informed in the meeting that out of 117 allotted works, 33 works pertaining to PHE Division Handwara have been completed so far. 30 works out of 100 allotted works stands completed in PHE Division Kupwara.
JD Planning, SE Jal Shakti, DIO, XENs, AEEs and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
