District Admin addresses public concerns at Bhella under Weekly Block Diwas

Doda : The District Administration Doda took proactive steps to address public concerns by organizing an extensive Block Divas outreach program at Higher Secondary School Bhella.
Led by District Development Commissioner, Harvinder Singh, the program provided a platform for local residents to directly communicate their grievances to the authorities. Held at Higher Secondary School Bhella, Block Thathri, the event saw the participation of key public figures, and district officers including DDC Chairman Dhananter Singh, SSP Doda Javaid Iqbal, DDC members, SDM Thathri Masood Ahmed Bichoo, and other officials, alongside a large gathering from people Bhella and Chiralla.
During the outreach program, a wide array of pressing issues were raised, spanning concerns about water and electricity supply, healthcare infrastructure, road connectivity, and various government-sponsored schemes. The active involvement of the public, PRIs, sarpanchs, panches, and BDC representatives underscored the collective effort to address these challenges.
The DDC Chairman expressed optimism about resolving public grievances swiftly, emphasizing the positive impact of government-sponsored schemes and initiatives in the area. During the public outreach program, the DDC Chairman expressed gratitude to DC Doda and appreciated the swift construction of roads and the ongoing developmental projects in the region. He also praised the efforts of the honorable Prime Minister, highlighting initiatives such as Ayushman Bharat, free ration for 80 crore individuals, and the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, which he deemed essential for the region’s progress. He further commended the three-tier system for development and encouraged former sarpanches to continue advocating for the common people’s welfare.
The District Development Commissioner reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing local needs, including the establishment of small-scale industries and ensuring opportunities for youth employment under the AVSAR scheme. Singh also assured the community of forthcoming government-sponsored schemes and initiatives, promising to bring these services directly to the doorstep of residents. Additionally, plans for the establishment of degree College and professional colleges in the region were discussed, with Singh pledging to pursue the matter with relevant authorities.
SSP Doda Javaid Iqbal emphasized the importance of strong police-public relations, assuring the community of the police department’s dedication to resolving cases and issues promptly. The outreach event showcased the administration’s commitment to responsive governance, ensuring effective communication of concerns and demands to relevant officials for timely resolution. Various government-sponsored scheme stalls were also set up, demonstrating the administration’s efforts to streamline services and benefits for the populace.
Additionally, during his inspection visit, the DC also visited Government Girls Hostel at HSS Bhella and Government Model Orchard cum Nursery in Bhella, along with the Forest Nursery, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to overseeing various aspects of development in the region.
