DC reviews Works undertaken by MC B’pore, Stresses timely completion of projects

Bandipora : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ur Rehman on Wednesday convened a meeting of the Municipal Council (MC) Bandipora at the DC office complex here to review the progress and status of various ongoing development works undertaken by the Municipal Council within the town.
On the occasion, Executive Officer MC Bandipora presented a detailed report on progress and status of various developmental projects undertaken by the council.
During the meeting, the DC took a detailed review of each project, including its current stage, timeline for completion, and any challenges faced.
He emphasized the importance of expediting the pace of work and ensuring timely completion of all projects for the benefit of the public.
The meeting reviewed the physical and financial progress of different works under execution in the town including Marriage Hall Bandipora, Slaughter house, Open gym and Children’s Park, etc.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the progress of sanitation, drainage, and waste management initiatives, development of parks and public spaces within the town, street lighting and beautification initiatives.
Emphasising on quality and transparency, the DC stressed the need to maintain high standards of quality in all works undertaken by the Municipal Council and related executing agencies. He also advocated for transparency in the execution of projects.
While stressing on the timely completion of projects, the DC directed the concerned officials to work diligently and remove any bottlenecks hindering the progress of projects. He set clear deadlines for the completion of various works and emphasized the importance of meeting these deadlines to avoid inconvenience to the public.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Bandipora, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat; ADC Bandipora Umar Shafi; Executive Engineer R&B, Executive Officer Municipal Council Bandipora besides others concerned.
