Training-cum-workshop for DLMTs held at Kupwara

Kupwara: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara (District Election Officer), a comprehensive training cum workshop for District Level Master Trainers (DLMT) was conducted by Election Office Kupwara at the meeting hall of D.C Office, here.
The training aimed to equip the DLMTs with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively carry out their duties.
On the occasion, various experts provided thorough awareness to the participants regarding the technicalities involved in the election process.
General Manager DIC Kupwara, Sameer Jan gave awareness to the DLMTs regarding Qualification and Disqualification, Nomination, Scrutiny of Nomination and withdrawal of candidature and allotment of Symbols.
Similarly, ACR Kupwara, IrfanBahadur provided awareness to the participants about District Election Management Plan, Vulnerability Mapping, Polling Party and Poll day Arrangements.
Other experts from NIC and ACD Kupwara, Mohammad Muzaffar also sensitized the trainers about Model Code of Conduct, Expenditure Monitoring and SVEEP, EVM-VVPAT, Counting and Declaration of result. Information about Postal Ballot, ETBPS and various IT applications including counting applications were also disseminated among the participants.
The Master Trainers were briefed on the latest guidelines and regulations to be followed during elections, emphasizing the importance of impartiality, transparency and adherence to electoral laws.
