Warm send-off accorded to outgoing ACD, ACR, Tehsildars, BDOs & other officers at Shopian

DC highlights their contribution for the people's welfare

Shopian : Assistant Commissioner Development, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Tehsildars of Shopian and Keller, BDOs, and other officers were on Monday given a warm send-off on their transfer from the district.
In the honour of these officers, a grand farewell function was organized at Circuit House Shopian here Monday by the District Administration, Shopian.
The Deputy Commissioner, Faz Lul Haseeb in his address praised the integrity, sense of responsibility and dedication of the officers adding that they all held a friendly approach in public relations and worked for the development and welfare of the district, which would be remembered always.
He hailed major contributions of the outgoing officers towards digitization of land records, bringing transparency in public dealings and development of the district. He prayed for the health and wellbeing of the transferred officers and conveyed his good wishes and blessings to the family of the officers.
Other officers also spoke on the occasion and shared their experience of working with these officers and extended good wishes for them. The officers performed their duties in the district for a good time and worked with an unbiased approach and commitment to public service, which touched the hearts of one and all, said speakers.
Officers also shared their experience and memories and thanked District Administration Shopian, Officers/Officials for their active support and cooperation during their tenure.
At the conclusion of the event, the felicitation function was held. The event was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz; Hilal Ahmad Jeri, ACD; Shahbaz Ahmad Bodha, ACR; Shakil Ahmad, Fida Ahmad, Najibullah (Tehsildars), BDOs, and other senior officers/officials of District Administration, respective Tehsil Offices and RDD department.
Shakoor Ahmad Dar, JKAS, 2011 Batch officer was also welcomed on the occasion as ACR Shopian.
