IIPA J&K holds 45th AGM meet in Jammu, Elections held for 2024-26

Jammu : B.R.Sharma, IAS (Retd) was re-elected as Chairman of the IIPA, JK Regional Branch for the period 2024-2026 during the 45thAnnual General Meeting of the Branch which was held on Monday.
Dr. Ashok Bhan, IPS (Retd), Former DGP,J&K Police shall be mentoring the branch as Patron. During the AGM, the new office bearers for the period 2024 – 2026 were also elected and the Executive Committee was also nominated. The office bearers elected for the period 2024 – 2026 were also elected including Er. J.B.S.Johar- Vice Chairman (Jammu), Dr G.N.Qasba- Vice Chairman (Kashmir); K.B.Jandial, IAS(Retd) – Vice Chairman. While the 15 member Executive Committee nominated on the occasion.
In his address, B R Sharma commended the outgoing team and expressed commitment to strengthening the branch through regional programs. He emphasized the importance of activities that benefit both society and the government, reaffirming IIPA’s existence is rooted in its mandate. Dr. Ashok Bhan, congratulating the branch for being adjudged the 1st best branch in the country, emphasized the need for the branch to align with IIPA’s vision, excel in training programs, research initiatives, and enhance credibility among various agencies as they approach their golden jubilee in the next 5 years. Prof. Alka Sharma, Honorary Secretary, presented the annual report, and Vikrant Kuthiala, Honorary Treasurer, presented the statement of accounts for the last financial year. Prof. Alka Sharma welcomed the gathering, Dr. Anil Gupta conducted the proceedings, and Prem Gupta, IPS (Retd), served as the returning officer during the elections.
