Cooperative Deptt Kishtwar provides Hardware Kits to PACSs (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies)

Kishtwar: In a significant step towards modernizing agricultural infrastructure, the Cooperative Department provided 10 hardware kits to Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) of the district Kishtwar.
The hardware kits, comprising desktop computers, monitors, webcams, biometric machines, inverters, VPN routers, smart tablets, thermal printers, and passbook printers, have been procured to cater to the operational needs of the PACS.
This initiative marks a pivotal step towards digital empowerment and inclusive development across the District under the guidance of Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, Ganie Nisaki Ul Farooq.
The distribution ceremony was held at a simple but impressive function held in the Conference Hall of DC Office Complex. Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav graced the event as chief guest.
This initiative aims to streamline data management and enhance efficiency within cooperative societies.
The initiative underscores the department’s commitment to harnessing technology for inclusive development and empowering grassroots institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner highlighted the transformative potential of the distributed hardware kits, stating, “This initiative marks a significant milestone in our journey towards digital empowerment and rural development. DC directed the department to install their setups in government offices and buildings.
By equipping PACS with essential hardware infrastructure, we are paving the way for enhanced efficiency, transparency and financial inclusion in the sector, observed DC Kishtwar.
The distribution of hardware kits to PACS is poised to yield tangible benefits, including streamlined administrative processes, improved financial management and greater accessibility to digital services for rural communities and also these PACS should function as CSC Centres.
Pertinently, this initiative aligns with the broader vision of the Cooperative Department to bridge the digital divide and foster sustainable development across Kishtwar.
DC also urged the Department to start Jam Manufacturing in the district. He also stressed upon the joining of the Milk Unit Nagseni established by Animal Husbandry Department at an approximate cost Rs. 40 lakh going to functional soon with the Cooperative Department.
DC emphasized the audit of the department to be done in the future soon.
The department remains committed to monitoring and evaluating the impact of the distributed hardware kits, ensuring optimal utilization and addressing any challenges encountered during the implementation phase. Through collaborative efforts and innovative initiatives, Kishtwar is poised to emerge as a beacon of digital transformation and rural empowerment in the region.
Assistant Registrar Cooperative Kishtwar Rajat Sudan, Assistant Registrar Cooperative Marwah Sanjay Singh, Inspector Cooperative Ravinder Raina, Inspector Cooperative Akhter Hussain Qazi, Auditor Lovemeet Kotwal, Auditor Powan Matoo, JCC Bank Manager Neeraj Sharma, representatives from NRLM, CSC Coordinator Kishtwar, CSC Operators along with Chairmen and secretaries of Societies were present on the occasion.
