Srinagar : Police on Tuesday said that it has attached a property (under construction house) on land Shamilat (4 marla) bearing survey No. 220 belonging to drug peddler Aijaz Ahmad Ganie S/o late Ghulam Ahmad Ganie R/o Gadihama, Kulgam under section 68-F (2) of NDPS Act 1985.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the said property was identified as illegally acquired property during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Kulgam Police, adding therein that the property was prima facie acquired from illicit trafficking of narcotic drug and psychotropic substances by the owner.
Stating that the said drug peddler is involved in Case FIR number 184/2020 and FIR number 83/2022 of Police Station Kulgam, Police in it’s statement said that it’s action reaffirms the commitment to combat the drug menace.
