Bharat Darshan Tour: 15 Kishtwar Youth embark on a Cultural Odyssey hosted by CRPF 52nd Bn

Kishtwar : A contingent of 17 Local Youth from Kishtwar district commenced their Bharat Darshan Tour on Tuesday, organized by 52nd Battalion CRPF under the Civic Action Programme.
The unique initiative of 52 Battalion CRPF launched under the guidance of Param Shivan Commandant, spanning from January 30, 2024, to February 8, 2024, will take the local Youth on a journey from Kishtwar to Bangaluru, providing them with a unique opportunity to explore the cultural richness of the states along the way.
In the opening ceremony held in CRPF Camp, the Chief Guest, Commandant 52nd Battalion CRPF, Parma Shivan flagged off the contingent in presence of Mohinder Kumar second-in- command CRPF and Deputy Commandant CRPF Anadi Dayal, and other dignitaries.
Among others, a large number of CRPF personnel, civilians and media persons were present.
The contingent, escorted by the Education Department’s Rajesh Kumar (Master) and CRPF representative ASI Venkatesh, will guide the contingent throughout the diverse cultural landscape of Bharat Darshan tour.
Chief guest/Commandant, Parma Shivan, addressing the Youth, during the flag-off, emphasized the significance of this tour as a golden opportunity to intimately understand India’s cultural and historical diversity. He highlighted the transformative potential of such experiences, fostering a broader perspective and global outlook among the students.
The itinerary, from Kishtwar to Bangaluru, passing through various states, is designed to expose the students/Youth to the vastness and legacy of each region, observed Parma Shivan.
The Chief Guest said that Bangaluru, being the IT hub of India, adds an extra layer to the tour, aiming to broaden the Youth’s vision and cultivate a mindset transcending regional and parochial boundaries.
CO 52nd Battalion on the occasion also stressed the importance of discipline, unity, and quality values during the tour, encouraging the Youth to embrace a holistic approach to their journey.
Earlier, the Deputy Commandant shared that the Youth will explore tourist and historical sites in Bangaluru, enhancing their understanding of India’s cultural spirit and instilling values of national integration and harmony.
As a gesture of support, Dabur India Ltd provided nutritional juice packets, distributed by the Social Reforms & Charitable Organisation (SCRO) Kishtwar under the guidance of President SRCO Sanjeev Parihar ji , enhancing the health and nutrition program for both Youth and CRPF jawans.
Sanjeev Parihar of SCRO Kishtwar extended his best wishes to the entourage, emphasizing the importance of such tours in shaping a well-rounded perspective by CRPF 52nd Battalion.
The Bharat Darshan Tour stands as an enriching experience, not only for the students/Youth but also as a testament to collaborative efforts promoting cultural understanding and national unity.
