DC B’la inspects Transit Accommodation for Migrants

Baramulla : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, on Monday undertook a comprehensive inspection of the transit accommodation in Fatehpora, Baramulla to assess and ensure availability of essential amenities for Migrant employees under the PM Package residing at the facility.
During the visit, the DC assessed all facilities, including water and power supply, sanitation, and other essential arrangements crucial for maintaining a high quality of life.
The DC issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officers, urging them to uphold proper sanitation and cleanliness standards within and around the residential blocks.
Inspecting the condition of the roads inside the residence premises, Minga Sherpa issued clear instructions to the officers for the upgradation, highlighting the importance of enhancing the roads to ensure better accessibility and safety for the residents.
The DC also directed the concerned officers to prioritize the leveling of grounds within the premises for creating safe and functional outdoor spaces to enhance the overall environment of the residence premises.
Minga Sherpa was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr Zahoor Ahmad Raina; Superintending Engineer R&B, Reyaz Ahmad Parry; Executive Officer MC Baramulla and other concerned officers during the visit.
