Bandipora : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman Rather Saturday chaired District Level Implementation Commissioner (DLIC) meeting of PM Vishwakarma Scheme at New VC Room Bandipora.
During the meeting 293 cases came up for discussion and consideration and committee after threadbare discussions recommended all 293 cases for Tier-III approval at UT Level.
Notably, vishwakarma scheme covers 18 trades including Carpenters, Boat Makers, Armourers, Blacksmiths, Hammer and Tool Kit, Makers, Locksmiths, Goldsmiths, Potters, Sculptor, Stone breakers, Cobblers (Shoesmiths/ Footwear artisans), Masons (Rajmistri), Basket/Mat/Broom Makers/Coir Weavers, Doll & Toy Makers, Barbers, Garland makers, Washermen, Tailors and Fishing Net Maker.
The meeting was attended by ADC Umar Shafi, ACR Bandipora Shabir Ahmad Wani, ACP, who is also holding additional charge of AD handicrafts/Handlooms, EOs of Municipalities Bandipora/Sumbal and Hajin, representatives from ALC Bandipora, Lead Bank and other concerned officers.
