Budgam: The 75th Republic Day was on Friday celebrated with gaiety and zeal at Government Degree College Khansahib.
The college staff, National Cadet Corps (NCC), NSS volunteers and other students participated in these celebrations.
Dr. NargisBano, Principal of the college, unfurled the national flag and inspected guard of honour presented by the NCC cadets.
In her speech, the Principal highlighted the significance of the constitution as a framework for national development and progress. She also urged the participants to adhere to the Fundamental Duties as enshrined in the constitution.
On this occasion, several cultural programs were organised by the college cultural committee wherein students’ participation was highly appreciated.
