Block Diwas: Kishtwar Admin addresses public Grievances at Bimal Nag- Saroor

Kishtwar: To address the grievances of the people at their doorsteps, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav presided over the Block Diwas program in Bimal Nag Saroor, Block Drabshalla of District Kishtwar, the other day.
The camp was attended by DDC Drabshalla A, Tehsildar Drabshalla, AD Food/AD Employment, BDO Drabshalla, CHO Kishtwar, BMO , along with officers from various departments.
Local representatives and residents of the Bimal Nag area projected demands related to water supply, electricity, transportation, and education.
Responding to the demands, DC Kishtwar assured to start SRTC BUS Service to the Bimal Nag Area within a fortnight. He further assured to resolve the bottlenecks impending long-pending Shiroti Road.
For the development of the Bimal Nag ground, DC Kishtwar informed that high Mast lights under KDA would be earmarked this year, and proposals for further development would be made.
The DC issued on-the-spot directions for the redressal of various issues, including the shortage of water supply. He informed about the proposed Water Supply Scheme on Rashun Nallah under Jal Jeevan Mission for the area. The DC directed BDO Drabshalla to construct cricket pitches and playfields under MGNREGA.
He directed Tehsildar Drabshalla to identify educated volunteers for opening a Common Service Centre (CSC) and Aadhar Centre to provide doorstep services to locals.
The DC also encouraged local youth to open tourism businesses under the AVSAR scheme. He assured support from the District Administration for those interested in starting businesses under AVSAR Scheme.
