Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ur Rehman haired a meeting here to finalize the preparations for OMR based written examination for the post of Finance Accounts Assistant (FAA) of JKSSB, scheduled to be held on 28th of January in the district.
During the meeting, it was informed that 5463 candidates are expected to appear in the written examination at 22 centers set up across the district. For the smooth, free and fair conduct of examinations, magistrates, observers, superintendents and Dy.Superintendents have been deployed in the district.
Deliberations in the meeting focused on roles, responsibilities and coordination of manpower, meticulous arrangement of basic facilities, especially heating arrangements keeping in view the cold conditions, elaborate security arrangements, logistics for transportation, safekeeping of examination materials and efficient traffic management.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that fair and transparent exams are the top most priority of the district administration.

The meeting was apprised that the police department was directed to ensure adequate deployment of Police personnel for escort of examination material and for proper frisking.
