Boasting an impressive participation of 98,700 individuals, including 37,600 women, the 56-day odyssey aimed to invigorate the implementation of beneficiary-oriented schemes in the district.
As the Yatra reached Ward No-05 Hollin in Banihal town on Wednesdayt, it emphasized its commitment to inclusivity, showcasing a powerful demonstration of community engagement. Spanning the entire district over the past 56 days, the Yatra has evolved into a dynamic platform, educating people about various government schemes. The ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ sessions have allowed beneficiaries to share poignant stories of positive transformation in their lives after availing themselves of different Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
Under the guidance of the Deputy Commissioner, all departments are actively promoting and extending the benefits of their respective schemes, contributing to the overall welfare of the community. Cultural programs held during the Yatra celebrated Ramban District’s rich heritage, weaving an intricate tapestry of cultural diversity.
The collective Viksit Bharat Sankalp Pledge-taking ceremony at the heart of the Yatra served as a unifying force, symbolizing shared aspirations and fostering a sense of community spirit.
Several key government initiatives, including PMAY-G, PMAY-U, PM-JAY Ayushman Card, Poshan ICDS, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, MUDRA Yojana, KCC, and PM Kissan Nidhi, have gained widespread recognition during the Yatra. Special emphasis has been placed on healthcare accessibility under PM-JAY Ayushman Cards issued and regular health check-ups, including TB monitoring, ensuring the well-being of the community.
The success of the Yatra lies in its extensive outreach, ensuring that the message of the Prime Minister resonates in every corner of the district, reaffirming the commitment to a developed and empowered Bharat.
