Hakeem Yaseen seeks GDC,SDH for Khag Budgam, focussed attention for its socio-economic transformation

Khag (B’gam): Saying that Khag area in central kashmiris Budgam district was educationally and socially the most backward area which has been neglected on all fronts by the successive governments , Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (J&K PDF )and former Minister Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen has demanded a Government Degree college and a Sub District Hospital in Khag on priority basis .
Talking to delegations from Khag area which called on him on Saturday Hakeem Yaseen accused sucessive governments of neglecting Khag area in various developmental and poverty allevation programmes . He has urged the LG Manoj Sinha to sanction a Degree College and a sub- district hospital for Khag area to fullfill Prime Minister Narindra Modis Sab Ka Saath Sab Ka Vikas gaurantee. He said that Khag area has vast tourism potential which has been left un exploited so far. “ There was an urgent need to tap tourism potential of Khag area optimally which was imperatvive for socio- political transformation of this backward area ,“ Hakeem Yaseen said adding that boosting of tourism activities would provide employment avenues to the local youth.
PDF Chairman assured the delegation that he will take up demands and problems submitted in the memorandum to higher authorities including L.G Manoj sinha so that these are fulfilled at the earliest. He said Khag is an important town in Budgam district which needs focussed attention for its socio-economic transformation on mordern lines. PDF leader has cautioned against political parties that thrive on politics of emotional and religious black mail for thier political interests. He said political ideology that exploits religious , cultural and emotional contrasts for political gains was detrimental for pluralistic credential of the country. He said time has come to expose those hypocratates who exploited and betrayed innocent people for thier vested political interests since last 7 decides.
