VC BGSBU visits IIIM Jammu

Jammu: Prof. Akbar Masood, Vice Chancellor Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri on Friday visited the Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine ( IIIM ) Jammu and met Prof. Zabeer Ahmed Director IIIM Jammu. Both the Heads of the Institutions discussed the possibilities of collaboration between the two institutions in different areas of science and technology.
During the course of his discussion Prof. Akbar Masood said that to begin with the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University will depute the Heads of various departments of sciences to visit IIIM Jammu to discuss the initiatives to be jointly taken up by both the institutions. Prof. Akbar Masood said that towards the ViksitBharat@2047, it is imperative upon the institutions of higher learning to collaborate with each other in diverse fields of study to develop cutting edge technology in emerging areas of science and technology. Prof. Akbar said that the collaboration of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University with IIM Jammu will not only benifit the faculty members for initiating collaborative research but will open open up new vistas of opportunities for the students and researchers of both the institutions to benifit from the institutional expertise.
