DC B’pora reviews progress on Semi Ring Raod Phase-2

B’pora: Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, ShakeelUlRehman Rather Thursday chaired a meeting of concerned officers to discuss various aspects of Semi Ring Road Phase-II.
The meeting discussed threadbare various aspects regarding the progress of semi ring road project phase-2, including land acquisition in Sarai Dangerpora, Shadipora, Rakhi Shilvat, Shilvat and Wangipora Ghat.
SDM Sumbal Amir Choudhary and Tehsildar Sumbal briefed the chair about various aspects of the project and progress made so far and also briefed about disposal of various objections filed by various land owners.
They further informed that all the proceedings have been dispose-off regarding the issues of land acquisition.
It was given out that semi ring road phase-2 covers 7 kms distance involving 05 villages in Sumbal sub-division.
The DC directed the concerned department for issuance of additional notification if required for the land involved in the project.
He asked the revenue officers of the administration and NHAI to work in close coordination to ensure proper execution of the semi ring road project phase-2.
Rather stressed on officers to remove bottlenecks, if any, to ensure timely completion of the project.
The DC directed the concerned officers to expedite the process of payment in favour of land owners without delay.
The meeting was attended by ACR BandiporaShabir Ahmad Wani, Project Director NHAI, SDM Sumbal Amir Choudhary, TehsildarSumbal and other concerned officers.
