Srinagar: On the occasion of Gurupurab, Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone, V.K Birdi, visited Gurudwara Rainawari in Srinagar to inspect and review arrangements for devotees.
Accompanied by officers, IGP Kashmir actively participated in the celebrations and engaged with Gurudwara management, local authorities, and community leaders to ensure seamless coordination for the comfort and safety of worshippers. V.K Birdi commended the Gurudwara committee’s efforts in fostering unity and a harmonious environment.
IGP Kashmir emphasized the importance of maintaining a secure environment for religious gatherings, assuring the community of the police force’s commitment to facilitating peaceful observances. He highlighted the significance of a positive relationship between the police force and the community. To ensure smooth arrangements, he encouraged close coordination and urged officials to be available for devotees’ assistance.
