JAMMU: The Director General Jammu and Kashmir Police R.R. Swain, and the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 16 Corps, Lt. General Naveen Sachdeva on Wednesday conducted a comprehensive security review of the Jammu region. The high-level meeting, held at Police Headquarters in Jammu was attended by senior officers from the Police, Army, and sister agencies.
While ADGP CID J&K Nitish Kumar and DIG JSK Shakti Pathak participated in person, the ADGP Jammu Zone Anand Jain, DIG Rajouri Poonch Range Dr. Haseeb Mughal, and DIG CID Kashmir Altaf Ahmad Khan joined through video conferencing. IG BSF Jammu, Dinesh Kumar Boora, and IG CRPF Jammu, Sandeep Khirwar, were also virtually present. The meeting involved a swift analysis of the overall security scenario in the Jammu region, addressing emerging challenges, and discussing effectiveness.
