Jammu : The Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra, the nationwide campaign launched to spread the message and vision of Prime Minister NarendraModi to make India a developed nation by 2047, reached the Changiapanchayat of Arnia block on Tuesday.
The yatra was led by Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma who welcomed the VBSY van that showcased the achievements and initiatives of the Government across different sectors.
District Development Council Member Surekha Devi, BDC Chairman Kuldeep Raj, BDO Gurjeet Singh and locals were present.
The MP interacted with the people and gave detailed information about the welfare schemes launched by the government for the uplift of the poor, farmers, women, youth, and other sections of the society. He also highlighted the development projects undertaken by the government in the region, such as roads, bridges, power, water, health, education and tourism.
He appealed to the people to support the vision of the Prime Minister and join the mission of making India a developed nation by 2047. He said that the government is committed to fulfilling the aspirations of the people and transforming the country into a self-reliant and prosperous nation.
The yatra was attended by officers and employees of 17 departments, who provided on-the-spot services and redressal of grievances to the people.
