R-Day arrangements finalized at G’bal

Ganderbal : The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Gulzar Ahmad on Monday finalized arrangements for smooth celebration of forth-coming Republic Day-2024, at a meeting, here.
The meeting held threadbare discussions on various arrangements to be put in place at the venue for the National function including security plan, cleanliness and sanitation, seating arrangement, traffic management, cultural programmes, media management and beautification of town.
On the occasion, various committees like invitation cards committee, stage management committee, selection committee, seating arrangement committees which were formed were directed to complete formalities for the smooth conduct of the celebrations.
The special emphasis was laid on refreshments, transportation and change room facilities for participating students.
The ADC also gave specific instructions for beautification of town and media management at the venue.
DySP was instructed to ensure fool-proof security arrangements at all venues where functions in this regard will be held across the district.
The ADC also instructed the HODs to install banners for showcasing their activities for the general public.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, DySP, Tehsildar Ganderbal, Dy CEO, AIO and other concerned.
