The proactive involvement of the community, especially school children, highlighted a collective commitment to ensuring road safety in Doda.
The inaugural ceremony showcased community engagement and also unveiled a comprehensive set of safety measures specifically designed for hilly areas.
In addition to avoiding overloading, overspeeding, and mobile phone use, the campaign emphasized regular vehicle maintenance, adherence to traffic signals, and the use of reflective gear during low visibility. The month-long celebration aims to instill a culture of responsible driving, creating safer roads for all residents of Doda.
