Kishtwar: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. DevanshYadav, on Monday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers and conducted a thorough review of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Yatra, discussing achievements and challenges.
The meeting, attended by key officials including ACD Kishtwar, Manoj Kumar, SDM MarwahMohd Ashraf, AD FCS&CA Shafqat Keen, LDM KishtwarPankajBhadani, and representatives from various departments, focused on evaluating the progress of flagship citizen-centric schemes.
The meeting was informed that the IEC VAN has successfully reached 116 Venues. The DC urged the health department to organize additional health camps during the Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra till January 26, 2024.
He called for expediting distribution of Ayushman Bharat Sehat Cards, and asked the Health Department to adopt a target-driven approach and ensure reaching 2000 beneficiaries by the following week.
Taking a proactive stance, he emphasized the importance of enhancing the number of on-spot departmental services at the Yatra Venues.
Meanwhile, addressing environmental sustainability, the DC instructed the ACD to incorporate soak pits for kitchen and bathroom water in the construction of new Awas Plus Houses aimed to foster the environmental sustainability.
