In a telephonic conversation from Mumbai, Singh recalled the time he put in on the field to work hard for such an opportunity.

The journey of a footballer started from a Kathua based club and academy named FC United Kathua, under the guidance of Rajinder Singh Bhadwal.

After getting his basic football training in Kathua, he joined Param FC, a club from Jammu but based in Hiranagar, Kathua, wherein he focussed more on his technical and tactical improvements under the guidance of Arun Paul Singh– “C License”, the note issued here on Sunday read.

It further read that he had AIFF Youth league exposure at Jammu United FC, Jammu and Real Kashmir FC, Srinagar.

He also thanked his mentor, Arun Malhotra Former India Football and Technical Member, All India Football Federation for his continued support and guidance.

“Jammu and Kashmir has immense talent and right channelising can surely earn such feats to our athletes,” he expressed.
