Ang: In a distressing turn of events, employees of the South Circle Power Development Department (PDD) Division in Bijbehara are grappling with financial hardships as salaries remain unpaid midway through January. Frustrated employees, speaking to the media, highlighted the dire consequences, with some expressing concerns about their children facing expulsion from classrooms due to unpaid monthly fees.
The plight of these employees is further exacerbated by the unresolved issue of children’s education allowances, which were slated to be credited to their accounts back in April. The accounts section in the circle reportedly failed to provide clear and accurate fund requirements, leading to the prolonged delay in disbursing the funds.
The affected employees are now urging the government for swift intervention to expedite the salary disbursement process and address the long-overdue education allowance payments. The community hopes that the accountants in the circle will promptly address the matter, ensuring that the government credits the pending funds without further delay.
