Budgam: To facilitate youth to establish sustainable livelihoods in the transport sector, commercial vehicles on Saturday distributed among the unemployed youth of the district under the Mumkin scheme of the Mission Youth programme at DC Office, Budgam.

Mumkin scheme under the Mission Youth programme is implemented by Employment and CounsellingCentres at District level to provide sustainable livelihood to the unemployed youth of UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
Under the Scheme, commercial vehicles are provided to the unemployed youth of J&K with the total 20 percent subsidy of the on-road price provided jointly by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir and Vehicle Manufacturers.
Till date 182 cases have been disbursed under Mumkin scheme in District Budgam. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the district administration by providing them a good source of livelihood under the Mumkin Scheme.
Other officers who were present on the occasion included CPO, CMO, XENs from different engineering wings and other District and Sectoral officers.
