B’gam: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Budgam, fueled by passion for cultural diversity and youth empowerment, orchestrated a vibrant and enlightening celebration of “National Youth Day” at the ADR Centre Budgam, under the auspices of JKLSA.
Under the able guidance of Khalil Ahmad Choudhary, Chairman DLSA, Budgam, and the supervision of Jehangir Ahmad Bakshi, Secretary DLSA Budgam, the day-long program became a dynamic platform for the active participation of enthusiastic PLVs, Panel Lawyers, Assistant LADC, and the dedicated staff of DLSA Budgam.
Abdul Rouf Parray, Asstt. LADC, set the tone for the event by emphasizing the importance of the day. He illuminated the significance of Swami Vivekananda, whose birthday is commemorated as National Youth Day, and underscored the duty of the youth to carry the nation’s development on their shoulders. Parray highlighted the historical role of youth in preserving and strengthening the cultural bonds of the nation.
Mehnaza Qazi from DLSA Budgam presided over the function, delivering a presidential address that further enriched the audience’s understanding of the day’s importance.
The program concluded with a lively general discussion between the speakers and participants, fostering an atmosphere of cultural harmony, youth engagement, and collective empowerment.
