DC conducts extensive tour of Kulgam Town

Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan Friday conducted an extensive tour of Kulgam town.
The tour encompassed areas including the main market, Ziyarat Market area, Bus Stand Laroo, Chawalgam, Clock tower and other locations where the DC assessed the status of basic amenities and interacted with people.
During the visit the DC also engaged with local residents to gather feedback, understand concerns and reinforce collaborative efforts towards beautification of the town and to provide hassle free services to the people.
He also visited the Shrine of Mir Syed Ali Hussain Simnani RA at Kulgam.
During his visit, the DC also interacted with management Committee members of the shrine and enquired about the facilities available for devotees here.
While on his visit to a recently dedicated indoor stadium, the DC instructed DYSSO to reach out to youth and amplify sports activities in indoor stadium by engaging more and more players.
Khan was accompanied by ADDC Showkat Ahmad Rather, ADC Viqar Ahmed Giri, JDP Zahid Sajjad, ACR, Executive Engineers from Jal Shakti and R&B, ARTO, Dy-SP, EO and other officers.
