Jammu : Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament, Jammu-Poonch constituency, on Thursday joined the nationwide Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra public outreach campaign at Panchayat Seri in Block Bhalwal of Jammu District. He was warmly welcomed by the local residents and members of the Panchayati Raj Institutions who expressed their support for the initiative.
The MP led a collective Sankalp pledge, instilling a sense of shared commitment towards making India a developed nation by 2047. He also interacted with the beneficiaries of various central government schemes and witnessed a live streaming of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s video message at the Government High School Seri, the venue for the day’s event.
Addressing the gathering, Jugal Kishore Sharma highlighted the transformative impact of government flagship schemes like PM Awas Yojana, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, PM Ujjwala Yojana and PM Jan Dhan Yojana on the lives of the citizens. He urged the people to spread awareness and avail the benefits of these schemes for maximum participation and empowerment. He also invited officials from different departments to explain their respective schemes and facilitate on-the-spot services for the people.

Anantnag: The Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra (VBSY) is making remarkable progress in Block Shangus, Anantnag with the VBSY IEC Van traversing through Shergund, Khanpora, Briangan A, Briangan B, Khulchora, and Ranipora GPs on Thursday, witnessing overwhelming public participation, captivating hearts in the region.
The VBSY, an unprecedented nationwide initiative aimed at bolstering awareness and maximizing participation in the Government of India’s welfare programs, has reached significant milestones across the district.
In a remarkable achievement for the Yatra in the Anantnag district, a staggering number of over 2.53 lakh people have actively engaged and participated, showcasing the profound impact and immense potential of this movement in unifying the populace towards the common goal of a developed India.
The Yatra, spanning the farthest reaches of the district, has been instrumental in disseminating awareness regarding various government welfare schemes, ensuring their reach even to the most remote corners.
Complementing its outreach, on-ground services like PM UjjwalaYojana enrolments, MY Bharat volunteer registrations, and distribution of Ayushman cards have been provided, facilitating direct engagement and access to essential social welfare progra
During the Yatra, citizens have actively involved themselves in numerous government schemes, underscoring substantial participation. Over 2499 individuals gained access to clean cooking fuel under the PradhanMantriUjjwalaYojana, while distribution of Ayushman cards has extended comprehensive health cover of Rs. 5 Lakhs per family per year to thousands. Notably, more than 94,184 citizens have benefitted from health screenings conducted at Health Camps during the Yatra.
Moreover, the Yatra has facilitated over 222 beneficiaries under the PM SVANidhi scheme and enrolled more than 215 new beneficiaries under PM KISAN, promoting financial independence and agricultural support.
The ‘MY Bharat’ initiative witnessed over 16,097 lakh youth registrations, reflecting a significant surge in engagement within the framework of the VBSY.

Samba : Far Flung Panchayat Sarai, Block Nud, District Samba, on Thursday played host to a remarkable Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra amid enthusiastic participation of local residents and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs).

Kathua : Principal Secretary Power Development Department (PDD), H Rajesh Prasad, attended Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) events at Panchayat Jandore in Block Keerian Gandyal, Kathua on Thursday.
The Yatra, aimed at highlighting government development initiatives, assessing progress and creating awareness about public welfare schemes, witnessed active participation and engagement from local residents.
During his visit, the Principal Secretary interacted with the local community and sought their feedback on government schemes evaluating the ongoing development works in the area.
Addressing the gathering, Rajesh Prasad highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision behind VBSY, emphasizing the importance of widespread awareness among rural masses, reaching the unreached population, and facilitating the utilization of government welfare schemes. VBS Yatra gains momentum in Ramban: Spotlight on Health, Agriculture, Nutrition, financial inclusion, livelihood schemes
Ramban : The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, is making a significant impact in Ramban District.
With an impressive participation of 84,000, including 32,000 women, this 45-day initiative continue the flagship March to saturate all beneficiary-oriented schemes.
‘Our target is to saturate all beneficiary-oriented schemes by the end of this year.’ The Yatra is not only unifying the community but also engaging local youth and marginalized individuals” stated DC, Baseer ul Haq Choudhary .
The district administration is actively promoting and extending benefits under PMAY-G, PMAY-U, PM-JAY Ayushman Card, Poshan ICDS, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, MUDRA Yojana, KCC, and PM Kissan Nidhi. Special attention is given to healthcare accessibility. As per the health Department, over 3500 PM-JAY Ayushman Cards have been issued during the Yatra so far, besides offering health check-ups, including TB screening.
Empowering farmers is a priority through the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) scheme, streamlining access to timely credit for agricultural inputs. The ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ initiative has enabled 2,350 individuals to share success stories, fostering a sense of community achievement.
The Yatra activities on Thursday included the visit of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Van to several Panchayats in block Banihal. In Batote town, a motivational program was held at Mir Mohalla in ward no 2, encouraging the residents to take benefit from government-sponsored schemes.
