LEAD builds student confidence with India’s biggest student championship

Ang: LEAD, India’s largest School Edtech company, has announced the winners of LEAD Championships 2023 at a grand finale event held in Bengaluru on 7th January. A prestigious, national-level platform for 1.2 million students from over 3000 LEAD-powered schools across India, LEAD Championships provides students from small towns an opportunity to showcase their skills and cultivate the confidence needed to succeed in life, while building essential 21st-century skills like Communication, Critical Thinking and Collaboration.

Sumeet Mehta, CEO and Co-Founder, LEAD, said, “Congratulations to all the winners and participants of LEAD Championships 2023! LEAD Championships brings exposure, exciting opportunities and new learning experiences to school students in India’s small towns and cities; and helps them gain from holistic learning experiences that propel them to continually achieve newer heights.”

Hafsa Feroz and Haifa Shahid, students of Radiant Public School, Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir, said, “We are very happy and honoured to win at LEAD Championships 2023! Preparing for the Championships has helped us to become more confident about our communication skills and learning abilities; and has helped us strengthen our conceptual understanding of subjects. We would like to thank our parents and teachers for all their support and guidance during this incredible learning journey.”
Feroz Ahmad Mir, Father of Hafsa Feroz and Shahid Jeelani Qadri, Father of Haifa Shahid said, “We couldn’t be more proud of Hafsa and Haifa for winning at the LEAD Championships 2023. This win is a result of all the support that Hafsa and Haifa have received from their teachers and classmates; and reflects the positive impact of a nurturing school environment that truly encourages holistic learning. We’re grateful to Radiant Public School for fostering our child’s talents and for providing opportunities to shine on a national platform!”

The ‘Li’l Champs’ and ‘English Champs’ categories in LEAD Championships 2023 provided students the opportunity to build and demonstrate Communication, Conceptual Understanding and Thinking skills, as did the newly introduced ‘Reading Champs’ category. ‘Quiz Champs’ focused on General Knowledge, Sports, Entertainment, History and Science; while the ‘Coding Champs’ category encouraged students to demonstrate their Creativity; App Design capabilities; and Speaking and Content skills. The winners of LEAD Championships 2023 took home exciting prizes worth Rs. 10 lakhs, including laptops, tablets and trophies.
