Samba: The District Administration Samba on Wednesday orchestrated a Block Diwas at Panchayat Deon, Block Purmandal under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Abhishek Sharma.
Accompanied by ADDC, Rajinder Singh, ACD, Sidharth Dhiman, and all District Officers, the camp witnessed active participation of the locals and adjoining Panchayats.
The locals projected the issues of augmentation of power scenario, macadamization of rural roads, check on soil erosion, completion of pending development works, meeting water shortage in Deon and nearby villages, strengthening medical infrastructure, Bus Stand issue, mining issue and transport issue etc.
Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, in a responsive manner, attentively listened to the grievances and demands voiced by the public.
The Deputy Commissioner sought department wise response to the issues projected during previous Block Divas, Swiftly seeking on-the-spot responses from the concerned District Officers, he established a direct and efficient channel for grievance resolution.
DC Sharma assured the public that all genuine demands and concerns would be prioritized and promptly addressed. Beyond verbal assurances, the Deputy Commissioner issued immediate instructions to the concerned officers, emphasizing the crucial need for time-bound redressal of public issues.
