Since the road shows held under VBS Yatra have virtually brome the sources of public attraction in towns and villages , the people in most of the towns and villages find in it a better opportunity to share their views even about the causes of unprecedented delays in the completion of languishing projects.

Viksit Bharat Sankalp (VBS) Yatra as announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the journey of the country. Interestingly the yatra continuing in all the districts of Jammu & Kashmir for the last more than a month has become a journey of reach out to the people at grass roots for both the administrative secretaries of almost all the departments and Deputy Commissioners of all the districts across Jammu & Kashmir. The public  reach out through this yatra is though aimed to know the responses of the people about the achievements of the Government during last nine years of BJP led NDA rule at the centre but it is also an opportunity for the people to share their concerns and observations about  the efficacy and efficiency of the practices and procedures adopted in the delivery of public services ,execution of welfare schemes and implementation of developmental projects with the administrative secretaries  and Deputy Commissioners leading road shows under VBS Yatra at district, tehsil and block headquarters across Jammu & Kashmir. Since the road shows held under VBS Yatra have virtually brome the sources of public attraction in towns and villages , the people in most of the towns and villages find in it a better opportunity to share their views even about the causes of unprecedented delays in the completion of languishing projects. Now it is for the administrative secretaries and deputy commissioner leading the road shows under VBS Yatra to take seriously the responses of the people for the purposes of course corrections in the practices and procedures adopted in the delivery of public services, execution of welfare schemes and implementation of development projects across Jammu & Kashmir.

“Since the outreach under  VBS Yatra is  not only about achievements of the last nine years but also about the demands of the people for improvements in the delivery of public services and launch of new infrastructural projects, the onus of raising the demands for improvements in the delivery of public services, modifications in the delivery of welfare schemes and implementation of developmental projects lies on the Deputy Commissioners and Administrative Secretaries spearheading the road shows under VBS Yatra in both Kashmir Valley and Jammu division as such an approach would boost response administration in Jammu & Kashmir.”

While the fact remains that several infrastructural developmental projects in key sectors of power, health, education and civil constructions have missed several deadlines over the period  of years,  it for the administrative secretaries and deputy commissioners to raise the demands for the completion of such incomplete developmental projects in their final reports on road shows they conduct in villages and towns under VBS Yatra across Jammu & Kashmir. Since the outreach under  VBS Yatra is  not only about achievements of the last nine years but also about the demands of the people for improvements in the delivery of public services and launch of new infrastructural projects, the onus of raising the demands for improvements in the delivery of public services, modifications in the delivery of welfare schemes and implementation of developmental projects lies on the Deputy Commissioners and Administrative Secretaries spearheading the road shows under VBS Yatra in both Kashmir Valley and Jammu division as such an approach would boost response administration in Jammu & Kashmir.
