Pulwama : Rural Development Department (RDD) in Tral organised a farewell function for Sarpanchs and Panchs as the term of Panchayats and Block Development Councils (BDCs) in Jammu and Kashmir ended on January 09.
The function was chaired was Block Development Officer (BDO) Tral, Dr Mohammad Ashraf, in which several Sarpanchs & Panchs from different Panchayats of Tral, besides the officers, employees of RDD, participated.
On the occasion, BDO Tral and other officials praised the efforts, made by Sarpanchs & Panchs, for the last five years, in their respective Panchayats.
During the programme, the Sarpanchs & Panchs were felicitated with garlands, while they shared their experiences with the participants about their tenure.
