VBS Yatra shows significant progress in empowering public of Ramban distt

Ramban: The Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra, led by Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, is making noteworthy progress in Ramban District.
The Yatra focuses on implementing government schemes, involving people in both rural and urban areas. Local youth actively participate in sports and commit to develop India by 2047.
In 42 day odessey, over 78,000 people, including 30,000 women, participated. They showed keen interest in schemes like PM-JAY Ayushman Card, Poshan ICDS, PM GaribKalyan Anna Yojana, KCC, PM KissanNidhi, and more. Notably, 3423 new PM-JAY Ayushman Cards were issued, improving healthcare accessibility.
As many as 3900 individuals underwent anemia test as part of the PoshanAbhiyan, while the Health Department conducted TB screening of 17000 individuals and NCD, of 48100 individuals, emphasizing a commitment to public health.
The Agriculture Department issued 1900 KCC cards to farmers, supporting the growth of agriculture and allied sectors. Nearly 2200 people shared their success stories under “MeriKahaniMeriZabhani.”
The IEC Van on Monday visited Panchayat Nogam and Tntraypura, witnessing significant public participation.
A program was held in Ward No 7 in Ramban town motivating the people to avail government-sponsored schemes. Stalls set up by various departments provided awareness, and registration for AB-PMJAY (Golden Cards) and eKYC of Ration Cards . Two beneficiary families of PMAY were felicitated with token keys to their houses.
