DC Rajouri chairs introductory meeting with District & Sectoral Officers

Rajouri: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat on Monday chaired an introductory meeting with District and sectoral officers here in the Conference Hall of the PWD Dak Bungalow, setting the stage for a productive and proactive approach towards the holistic development of the district.
Addressing the officers, Deputy Commissioner Om Prakash Bhagat emphasized the importance of prompt and efficient execution of the developmental projects. He asked the officers to work with utmost dedication and commitment, keeping the welfare of the public at the forefront of their endeavors.
Recognizing the importance of coordination and collaboration, the Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to ensure close interdepartmental coordination. This would play a crucial role in the planned and seamless execution of various developmental works throughout the district. By working together as a cohesive unit, the officers can maximize their impact and deliver tangible results that will positively transform the lives of the residents of Rajouri.
The Deputy Commissioner further emphasized the need for well-organized arrangements for Republic Day celebrations. It is imperative to ensure a smooth and efficient execution of the event, with all necessary preparations made well in advance.
In light of the approaching elections, the DC directed the officers to be thoroughly prepared. The aim is to conduct the elections seamlessly and uphold the democratic process.
Acknowledging the importance of effective communication, the DC has stressed the need for timely reception of any communication in the DC office. This ensures that information flows efficiently, facilitating quick decision-making and response to various matters within the jurisdiction. Focusing on the development of border areas, the DC has directed officers to prioritize the timely completion of border bunkers.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner made a clear and unequivocal directive to all officers in attendance: no officer shall leave the station without obtaining prior permission. This directive underlines the importance of accountability and responsibility, ensuring that officers remain available and accessible to fulfill their duties and responsibilities towards the development of the district.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the significance of holistic development, emphasizing that it encompasses various sectors and aspects of the district. From infrastructure to healthcare, education to agriculture, and social welfare to employment opportunities, every facet of development should be given due attention and prioritized accordingly.
Among the others the meeting was attended by ADDC, Pawan Kumar; DFO Rajouri, Arshdeep Singh; DFO Nowshera, Sateyendra Maurya; ADC Rajouri, Rajiv Kumar Khajuria; ADC Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar Behnal; GM DIC, Ashwini Sharma; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; SE PWD(R&B), Devi Dayal; SE Hydraulics, Bharam Jyoti Sharma; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; DSEO, Sandeep Sharma; ACD, Vijay Kumar; ACP, Sheraz Chowhan; DPO, Auqil Nuvaid and other district and sectoral officers.
