76 CRPF Battalion organizes Health Checkup camp for Channi Rama Residents

Jammu : The 76 CRPF Battalion, in collaboration with J&K Health Department, organized a free medical camp under Civic Action Programme here on Monday at Guru Ravidas Community Hall, Channi Rama.
The health camp was held under the guidance of Sandeep Khirwar, IPS IG Jammu Sector and Ramesh Kumar, DIG Jammu Range. The main objective of the camp was to reach out to the needy people of the area to provide free health care and make them aware about their health.
In the Medical Camp, the Medical Officers Dr. S.Sowmiya, 76 Battalion, CRPF and Dr. Neeyati Abrol, conducted free] medical check-ups of around 300 civilians and provided free medicines.
T.H. Khan, Commandant-76 Bn inaugurated the Civic Action programme and appealed to all people of the area to go for physical exercises regularly to stay fit. He sensitized them about healthy lifestyle and hygiene. Besides, he also elaborated the role of the CRPF in maintaining a] cordial relationship between locals & force.
Mahendra Singh 2IC, Rajesh Kumar Yadav 2IC, Debu Dhakarwal, Asstt. Comdt., Rajinder Pal Singh, Asstt. Comdt., Insp Vishnu Kumar Sharma of 76 Bn CRPF also participated in the camp.
The initiative drew positive response and was received well by the locals with the urge that CRPF to organize such camps in the future also. NO: PR/DDI/J-5643//
