Rajouri : On the directions of Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Rajouri, a Lok Adalat regarding MACT cases will be organized on 27th of January 2024 in District Court Complex Rajouri.
The move aims to settle the large number of pending MACT cases through amicable settlement.
The interested litigants have been invited to approach the respective Courts through their counsel where their cases are presently pending. In case of Holiday on 27th of January 2024 the Lok Adalat will be organized on the next working day.
Interested parties can approach the concerned court well before the scheduled date and can get their cases fixed for the disposal in the Lok Adalat.
All the standing Counsels of insurance companies appearing before MACT Rajouri are accordingly directed/requested to identify the cases which qualify for being taken up in the Lok Adalat, as per the provisions of the Legal Services Act 1987 and the rules and regulations framed there under, after making the preliminary exercise. The list of cases is to be submitted to the authority by or before 22nd of January 2024 to facilitate the constitution of benches in time.
