Washington: Former US President Donlad Trump said during remarks in Iowa that a speech earlier on Friday by President Joe Biden was intended to fearmonger concerns about Trump.
“Crooked Joe [Biden] is staging his pathetic, fearmongering campaign event in Pennsylvania today,” Trump said on Friday.
Earlier on Friday, Biden spoke in Pennsylvania, where he focused on perceived threats to democracy in the United States by Trump, on the eve of the anniversary of the January 6 US Capitol riot.
Biden compared comments made by Trump to rhetoric in Nazi Germany. In December, Trump rejected the comparisons and called them unwarranted.
