DLC approves 12 cases under PM-FME at Kulgam

Kulgam : To discuss and dispose-off applications submitted for establishment of Micro Food Processing Units under PM-FME scheme, a meeting of District Level Committee (DLC) on Pradhan Mantri- Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat at Mini-secretariat, here.
After threadbare discussion regarding various products, their productivity, processing perspective, market viability etc. Committee approved 12 cases under the scheme for establishment of Micro Food Processing Units.
CAO and District Resource Person were instructed to guide eligible aspirants for establishment of their units properly.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, Showkat Ahmad Rather; JD-Planning, Zahid Sajjad, CAO (District Nodal Officer PM-FME), CHO, CAHO, GM Industries, Area Marketing Officer, Lead District Manager, DDM NABARD, Dy-R- Co operative Department and other members of the committee.
