Weekly Block Diwas: DC Rajouri listens to people’s issues at Saj Panchayat of Block Plangarh

Rajouri : In an earnest endeavor to promptly address public grievances at their very doorsteps, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal on Wednesdaychaired weekly Block Diwas public outreach camp at Saj panchayat of block Plangarh.
This remarkable event witnessed a diverse array of concerns passionately voiced by the public and their representatives. The demands raised by the locals ranged from the macadamization of roads, adequate staff and upgrading of government institutions, meeting water shortage and the essential augmentation of healthcare infrastructure.
The voices of the community echoed in demand for construction of the road from Saj to Beka, speedy implementation of JJM schemes, construction of road from Leera Wali to Sai Walidat, shortage of electricity poles, pending work on CFC building at Lah to be completed at the earliest, dilapidated condition of road from main road to Bawli etc.
Other issues included renovation of Plangarh to Bandhanu road, adequate staff at PHC Dodasan Balla, opening of GMS at Danna, examination hall for GHSS Saj, inclusion of left out eligible beneficiaries under PMAY-G and many more.
Notably, the event also provided a platform to the government officers to enlighten the public about the multitude of schemes and programs being executed by their respective departments in the district. They motivated the attendees to embrace and benefit from these initiatives for the betterment of their lives.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the public that all their concerns had been meticulously documented and that each genuine issue would be addressed through the intervention of the respective departments in a phased and time-bound manner.
In a spirit of collaboration, the Deputy Commissioner acknowledged the invaluable contributions of all stakeholders who have played a vital role in achieving the objectives of government initiatives. He fervently encouraged them to persist in their hard work for the greater good of the common masses.
The Deputy Commissioner also issued on-the-spot directives to the concerned departments to prioritize and resolve the issues flagged by the public. Remarkably, several issues found resolution right there with the prompt intervention of the dedicated departments.
Recognizing the pressing need for the construction of the road from Saj to Beka, the Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned Executive Engineer (EXEN) to promptly implement necessary measures to address the issue. This directive emphasizes the importance of swift action to ensure the timely and effective resolution of the road construction matter.
In line with the imperative goals of the Jal Jeevan Mission, the Deputy Commissioner has instructed the concerned officer from the Jal Shakti department to expedite the completion of schemes. This directive underscores the commitment to ensuring the earliest realization of essential water projects, emphasizing the paramount importance of expeditious action for the convenience and well-being of the public.
At the Block Diwas event, the Deputy Commissioner issued a pivotal directive for seamless collaboration among the concerned departments. Emphasizing the imperative of swift resolution, the Deputy Commissioner called for a united effort to eliminate bottlenecks hindering the timely execution of developmental projects.
Among the others, DDC Member Rajouri, Sai Abdul Rashid; BDC Plangarh, Parveen Akhter; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; SDM Thanamandi, Shafeeq Mir; ACP Sheraz Chowhan; DDE, Qadeer Ul Rahman; CAO Sohan Singh; CMO, Dr Rajinder Sharma; CAHO, Dr Khalid Hussain; DSWO, Abdul Rahim: EXEN REW, Zahir Khan; EXEN Jal Shakti Rajouri, Ashwini Sharma; EXEN PDD Rajouri, Mohd Rashid and other district and sectoral officers attended the event.
