Traders and Fruit Growers in Kreeri laud Agriculture Deptt’s Crackdown on spurious fertilizer dealers

Srinagar|Dec,3: In a commendable move, the Traders cum Fruit Growers Association in Kreeri Wednesday expressed appreciation for the decisive action taken by the Enforcement wing of the Agriculture Department today, led by Director Agriculture Kashmir Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal, the initiative targeted spurious fertilizer dealers at various locations.
The Association applauded this effort, citing the destructive impact of such malpractices on Kashmir’s economy and the dire consequences for struggling Apple Growers and Farmers. Highlighting the willingness of the traders and fruit growers in Tehsil Kreeri, the Association extended their support to the Agriculture Department for any future drives against substandard and spurious pesticides, fungicides, and fertilizers in Kreeri Tehsil and its suburbs. Syed Noor Ud Din Andrabi, President of the Association, reiterated their commitment to assisting the department in maintaining the integrity of agricultural practices. The Association welcomed the department’s initiative and emphasized the collective responsibility to safeguard the interests of the farming community.
