Ganderbal : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, a massive demolition drive was conducted on Wednesday against illegal constructions at Margund, Satrina and Doctors Colony Plang during which various structures were razed to the ground.
The demolition drive was headed by SDM Kangan along with the Executive Engineer I&FC, Tehsildar Kangan and SHO Kangan.
The District Administration has initiated action against the offenders who have raised structures illegally along Sindh Nallah and other places in the district.
District Administration Ganderbal has asked people not to indulge in illegal construction activities and encroachments as violators would be dealt strictly under law besides all encroachments which have been raised illegally will be demolished and no such construction will be allowed in the district.
