Kathua : In the heartland of Kathua district, the nationwide Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra became the stage for Asha, an Anganwadi helper from Partap Nagar, to share a compelling tale during the “Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani” segment. Her heartfelt narrative encapsulates the transformative impact of the PM Poshan Project, highlighting its pivotal role in fulfilling the nutritional needs of pre-pregnancy and lactating women, while also securing the future of the girl child through the Laadli Beti Scheme.
Asha’s words carried a resonance that touched the souls of those present, echoing her gratitude for the visionary policies championed by the Prime Minister, aimed at protecting and empowering women and the girl child.
“Through the PM Poshan Project, we’ve witnessed a revolution in our community,” Asha shared, echoing the sentiments of many. “The focus on the well-being of pre-pregnancy and lactating women has brought about a positive change that extends beyond nutrition. It’s about empowerment.”
The nationwide campaign, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, passing through Kathua district, became a platform for Asha to extend her gratitude to the Prime Minister for these transformative initiatives. “The dissemination of information, education, and communication through this Yatra is a testament to the government’s commitment to reaching every corner of the nation,” she affirmed.
In Partap Nagar, the PM Poshan Project has become a beacon of hope. Women, once overlooked, now receive targeted support ensuring their nutritional needs are met comprehensively. The Laadli Beti Scheme, a crucial part of this initiative, has brought about a paradigm shift, providing not just monetary security but a sense of equality and opportunity for the girl child.
“The Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani segment of the Yatra gave me the platform to express our community’s gratitude,” Asha continued. “The impact of these policies has touched hearts and homes, igniting aspirations and fostering a sense of empowerment among our women and girls.”
Through the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the government’s commitment to spreading awareness and fostering development at the grassroots level is evident. Asha’s story stands as a testament to the profound impact of initiatives like the PM Poshan Project in nurturing healthier, empowered communities across the nation.
