Jammu, Jan 03: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday cautioned people against a fake Facebook official account of Zonal Police Headquarters, Jammu, circulating on social media platforms, posing as ADGP Jammu Anand Jain.
Police have asked the people to avoid engaging with any content or messages from the fake account.
“We take matters of misinformation and impersonation seriously. Our official social media accounts are official accounts and any communication outside of these channels should be treated with caution. Please be vigilant and avoid engaging with any content or messages from the fake account,” police cautioned.
Police said that they were actively working to address the issue and had reported it to the relevant platform for immediate action.
