Amid dry, hot and humid weather, hundreds of people including men, women and children mostly bare foot visited the revered suffi Saint Shrine Sheikh Noor-Ud-Wali popularly known as Nund Resh at Charar-e- Sharief in Budgam district on Sunday for prayers to seek rainfall to end the drought season in Kashmir valley. Srinagar: The Joint Director Information Kashmir (JDIK), Mohammad Aslam on Monday condoled the demise of Mother-in-law of Isana Rashid, Senior Assistant of the department, who passed away on Monday.
In this connection, the Joint Director Information Kashmir convened a condolence meet in his Office Chamber, at JDIK Office Exchange Road Kothi Bagh, here.
During the meeting, the Joint Director offered his deepest condolences to Isana Rashid and her family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul, besides courage for the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Director (PR) Kashmir, Bilal Mukhtar; Assistant Director/ FPO, M Aslam Khan; Cultural Officer, Burhan Hussain and other officers and officials of Information Department Kashmir have also extended sympathies to their colleague and the bereaved family, and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
