Doda: Commissioner of Food and Drugs Administration, J&K, Shakeel UI Rehman Rather, spearheaded the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ in Panchayat Dali-Udhyanpur here on Monday.
The initiative commenced with a welcome ceremony, infused with a special message from the Prime Minister, reinforcing the national commitment to local progress. The presence of key officers and local leaders at the event underlined the collaborative approach essential for holistic regional development.
The Yatra was a resonant success, witnessing active participation from frontline workers, local inhabitants, and government officials. A notable feature was the screening of the Prime Minister’s message on a large LED screen mounted on the Yatra van, emphasizing the union of national vision and local action.
The event highlighted the objective of full saturation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes in the region, a testament to the effective coordination between local and central authorities. During the celebration, the pledge of Viksit Bharat Sankalp was read out by the Commissioner along with all attendees
The Commissioner interacted with the community members, including sarpanchs, panchas and PRIs, focusing on the significance of joint efforts for maximizing the benefits of government schemes. He emphasized the role of Anganwadi workers for ensuring the provision of fortified food to children, underscoring community health and welfare. A unique segment of the program, “Meri Khani Meri Zubani,” allowed individuals to share personal stories, fostering a deeper connection between the administration and the community.
The event, attended by ADDC Doda, Pram Singh and ACP Doda, Ashfaq Khanji, marked a pivotal step in Panchayat Dali-Udhyanpur’s journey towards prosperity and development.
