Dr. Farooq inaugurates Gulah Mohammad Jan Memorial T-20 Tournament in Poonch

Poonch: Gulah Mohammad Jan Memorial T-20 Tournament was launched in Poonch, an event that witnessed the participation of over 32 youth teams.
According to a statement issued from party headquarters here, the prestigious tournament was officially declared open by Dr. Farooq Abdullah, former Chief Minister and Member of Parliament, at the Sports Stadium Poonch over 32 teams of youth signed up to take part in the event.Organized by a dedicated team led by Raiz Madni, Shoaib Mughal, Asgar Ali, Imran Shah, and others, the tournament aimed to provide a platform for the youth to showcase their talents and engage in physical activities promoting health and wellness.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by several notable personalities, including Jahangir Hussain Mir, former MLC, and Ajaz Jan, former MLA, who addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of sports in the development of young individuals.
Among the prominent attendees were Bhaghussain Rathoor, Peer Nissar Shah, Peer Khurshid Shah, Sheikh Afzal, Mashooq Khan, Bashir Naike, Gulam Hussain Bhatti, Raju Thakur, Narinder Singh Talwar, Naveen Singh, Prvinder Singh, Abdul Razak, Rahim Daat, Javid Lone, Mukhtar Rathoor, Matiul Rehman, Sonu Singh, and Dr. Ravinder Singh, along with others who showed their support for this initiative.
The Gulah Mohammad Jan Memorial T-20 Tournament is more than just a sports event; it is a testament to the commitment of the Poonch community towards nurturing and recognizing the potential of its youth. Through this tournament, the organizers and supporters aim to inspire a generation to adopt healthier lifestyles and bring to light the hidden sports talents among the young populace.
