Decisions on future of electoral and constitutional transformation of Jammu & Kashmir taken by Parliament under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019 have withstood the tests of legal scrutiny.

Looking back at the year 2023 the major achievements of the BJP led NDA Government at the Centre under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are about the  completion of the constitutional transformation of  Jammu & Kashmir besides improvements in security, stability and infrastructural development in both Kashmir Valley and as well as Jammu division . At the end of year 2023 even critics of Modi Government don’t find even a single point a dispute the fact that decisions on future of electoral and constitutional transformation of Jammu & Kashmir taken by Parliament under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019 have withstood the tests of legal scrutiny. With Supreme Court of India putting it’s stamp of approval on August 5, 2019 decisions of the parliament on the constitutional position and administrative status of Jammu & Kashmir besides upholding the recommendations of the delimitation commission whose recommendations have been implemented in Jammu & Kashmir the critics of the Modi Government find no takers for their arguments on constitutional and administrative transformation of Jammu & Kashmir. By all standards of understandabilities the constitutional transformation of Jammu & Kashmir under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has almost come to a full circle with Supreme Court putting immediate restoration of statehood and conduct of assembly elections by end September 2024  high on the unfinished agenda of the Modi Government’s constitutional transformation of Jammu & Kashmir.

“Prime Minister Narendra in his latest statement on political and administrative transformation of Jammu & Kashmir has said that people of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are free to decide their destiny only to drop an indication about the conduct of assembly elections in Jammu & Kashmir in second half of the new year.  The Year 2024 as such would be most likely now be the year of fulfilling promises for Narendra Modi headed BJP led NDA Government which is set to seek third consecutive term in upcoming Lok Sabha elections hopefully before the month of May this year.  Having set an unmatched record of keeping his promises even on the contentious issues of national and international importance the people would be now desperate to see Prime Minister Modi rolling out a new roadmap for the completion of the constitutional transformation of Jammu & Kashmir.”
