Kathua : Amidst the vibrant energy of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Kathua, one story shone brightly, echoing the essence of resilience and progress. It is the tale of Shakti Sharma, a beacon of inspiration within the self-help group under the UMEED initiative.
Shakti’s journey into entrepreneurship alongside her self-help group was sparked by the vision and support offered by the UMEED scheme of JKRLM. With the aid of soft loans provided through this initiative, their venture in mushroom-rearing commenced with a humble investment of Rs 10,000. Fuelled by determination and fortified by the assistance from UMEED, Shakti and her group (Bua Rani) poured their hearts into nurturing their mushroom enterprise.
What followed was a story of incredible growth and achievement. Against all odds, their venture thrived, surpassing expectations and turning the initial Rs 10,000 investment into an astonishing Rs 3 lakh. The success not only transformed their financial standing but also kindled a newfound confidence and empowerment within Shakti and her fellow entrepreneurs.
In the midst of celebration and acknowledgment, Shakti attributed much of this remarkable journey to the visionary policies of PM Modi. She praised the policies for their profound impact in empowering women and fostering the spirit of self-reliance. The initiatives and support provided through UMEED and similar programs have been instrumental in breaking barriers and creating opportunities for women like Shakti across the nation.
As the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra unfolded in Kathua, Shakti’s story became a beacon of hope and determination. Her journey exemplified the fusion of individual perseverance and government support, painting a vivid picture of how determination, coupled with initiatives like UMEED and the broader vision of Aatmanirbharata, can ignite remarkable transformations.
Shakti’s success story, emerging amid the fervor of the yatra, resonated as a testament to resilience, progress, and the transformative power of inclusive policies. Her narrative encapsulated the essence of empowerment, underscoring the possibilities that arise when determination meets support, carving a path towards a brighter, self-reliant future for countless others.
